School Cinema Hall Back to Achievement Page
Today the result of 60 hours short film making challenge organised by Minibox office.com Noida was declared on 30-08-2013. In this competition many schools of India and other Countries participated and submitted their films. The topic for the film making challenge was Independence Day 2014. In this challenge our school won the Best Film Award Jury ,Best Concept Award and Viewer Choice Award. The film was directed by Mr. Harish Verma, PRT. The role players of this film were Nishant, Arjun, Yogeshwar, Gopal, Rythem, Hitesh, Ritesh and Ashima. The other teachers who extended their support were Mrs. Shashi Leekha, Mrs. Sarla Jha, Mrs. Kamaljeet Kaur, Mrs Gauri and Mr. Sunil Jindal. In the history of Tohana, it is first time that a school accepted such type of short film making challenge and has also won the Best Film Award Jury and Best Concept Award at National Level. Principal congratulated the team members and appreciated them for their earnest afforts. She remarked that it is a matter of immense pleasure and pride for all the Tohanians and DAVians. The film will be telecast on ‘You tube website’ and TV. In the film the evils prevalent all over India have been picturised in a very effective and natural way.
