Eleven teams of different Schools participated in the volleyball tournament in Maharaja Aggarsain Public School from 9th to 11th Oct, 2013 and girls of our school participated in CBSE cluster XV. The semifinal match was played with Shah Satnam ji Public School Sirsa. The girls’ team beat them by 2-1. The final match was held between D.A.V. Tohana and Ganga International school Khanori in which our school won the match by 2-0 under the guidance of Physical Education teacher Sh. Yashpal Singh and Smt. Sushila Bhari. The performance of the girls’ team was exemplary. This team will now perform in CBSE National level.

Dr. Mala Upadhyaya encouraged the students saying that there must be a sportsman spirit in sports and the school is proud of this great achievement. They have glorified the name of their school as well as their parents and their city Tohana.
