DAV National Level Sports Tournament was organized in DAV University Jalandhar (Punjab) from 8th to 10th December, 2013. The Girls’ Team of our school represented the Haryana State in this tournament. They played the first match with the team of Bihar State, defeating them by 2-0 and thus secured a place in the semi-finals. The semi-final match was played with the team from Uttrakhand and our team secured a position in the final by defeating them by 3-0. They played the final match on 9th December with the team of Delhi and won the trophy by defeating them by 3-0. Our team has made all of us feel proud. 

The team was given a grand welcome on reaching the school. A victory Rally was also organized in the Tohana City in their honour, for their exemplary performance. Sh. Yogesh Mehta SDM Tohana, blessed the Team and congratulated the entire DAV family for this great achievement.

Principal Dr. Mala Upadhyaya congratulated all the players saying that they had brought name and fame to their school, parents, teachers and Tohana city. The Principal also congratulated the PETs Mr. Yeshpal Singh (Team coach), Mrs. Sushila Bhari & Mrs. Shalini on behalf of Sh. Rajinder Nath (Chairman), Dr. D. Vidhyarthi (Regional Director), Sh. Ranpal Singh (Manager) & members of LMC, for their able guidance and expert direction and hoped and prayed for their bright future.
